W3C timed text

Move captions into a professional TTML timeline.

Convert SRT, VTT, SBV, LRC or legacy DFXP into canonical TTML. The parser resolves clock, frame and tick grammar before writing one predictable timeline.

Preservation contract

Cue ranges stay precise

Begin and end positions are written as stable millisecond clock values.

Unicode and portable emphasis stay

Multiline dialogue plus bold, italic and underline spans are normalized safely.

Layout metadata is simplified

Regions, animation, fonts, colors and vendor extensions do not have portable equivalents across every input format.

Need the reverse direction?

The SRT and VTT tools now detect both modern TTML and legacy DFXP.

Upload at least one subtitle file to continue.

CLOCK · FRAME · TICK

Real timing grammar

Supports parent offsets, durations, sequential containers, effective frame rates, subframes and tick rates—not just simple clock timestamps.

DFXP → TTML

Legacy namespace upgrade

Older DFXP timed text is read through its historical W3C namespaces, then emitted as compact, current TTML XML.

XML HARDENED

No external entities

DTD and entity declarations are rejected and network resolution is disabled before the XML document reaches the timing engine.
