What is an LRC lyrics file?

LRC is a plain-text timed-lyrics format. Each lyric line begins with a timestamp such as [00:12.400] so compatible music players can highlight lyrics during playback.

Does LRC preserve subtitle end times?

No. Standard LRC stores the start time of each line but has no end-time field. Converting to LRC preserves cue starts and dialogue, while subtitle end times are intentionally omitted.

Can I convert LRC back to SRT or VTT?

Yes. The SRT and VTT converters detect LRC automatically. Each cue ends at the next lyric timestamp; the final cue receives a documented four-second fallback duration.

Is Enhanced LRC supported?

Enhanced LRC word timestamps are accepted as input. Word-level timestamp markers are normalized to readable line text because SRT, VTT and standard LRC do not share one portable word-timing model.

Are LRC metadata and offsets supported?

Common metadata such as artist, title, album and offset is read. A numeric offset is applied when converting LRC to SRT or VTT, and metadata remains intact when an LRC file is normalized back to LRC.
