iTT is the .itt iTunes Timed Text caption format. It is a restricted TTML profile used in Apple delivery workflows.

Which frame rates are supported?

You can export 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97 or 30 fps using SMPTE non-drop timing.

Why does iTT need a language code?

The output requires an XML language tag. Use a BCP-47 value such as en, en-US, ms-MY or zh-Hant.

Can timing change during conversion?

Millisecond input is quantized to the nearest output frame, so a cue boundary can move by up to roughly half a frame.

Does this guarantee store acceptance?

The output follows the core iTT document restrictions, but final package acceptance can also depend on content, language, media and delivery metadata outside the subtitle file.
